Libyan Sybil

Libyan Sybil:

This is a master's copy of Michaelangelo's that I did using a sepia charcoal pencil on toned paper.

Women Seated:

I did this drawing from a photograph using both sepia and white charcoal pencils on toned paper.

Female Study:

With this portrait Iwanted to focus on the face rather then have every part have the same level of detail.

Male Study 01:

I liked working with this model, his face has a lot of chracter.

Male Study 02:

I did a new technique on this quick portrait drawing. I mainly used the side of a piece of jumbo chracoal on the entire piece.

Gollum:

My favorite CG character.

Anakin:

Yeah the movie wasn't what we had hoped but I drew him anyways.

Skull Study:

I did this drawing from a prop skull in a workshop.

Ribcage Study:

This ribcage is from one of those medical skeletons. Its really hard to draw ribs.

Shoulder Study:

I drew this from one of Leonardo's many amazing pieces. It shows the deltoids from several levels.

Knee Study:

I find the knee tricky to draw because of the the angle of the interlocking bones and perspective.

Old Man's Shoulder:

I loved drawing this model. His emaciated muscles showed through his aged skin.

Hand Sketches:

Hands are one my hardest things to draw. So I've been drawing my hands on the subway.

Male Hand Study:

These are my hands. I really wanted to focus on the tendons and veins.

Female Hand Study:

Men and women's hands are very different. Women's hands should be drawn with softer and thinner lines.

Hand Sketches:

More hands.

Eye Sketches:

Here I tackle the eyeball. Its the first thing we look at so you can't get enough practice.

Foot Sketches:

I actually like to draw the foot, but don't ask me why .

Ear Sketches

At first the ear looks hard to draw but once you grasp the anatomy its a breeze.

Ecorche Study:

This was probably the most helpful class I ever had. Scultping every bone and muscle in 15 weeks. A lot to learn but I was a sponge.

Torso Study:

Here is a torso that I sculpted a while back .

Head Study:

Drawing a head and sculpting the head are two totally different things. I enjoyed working on his beard.

Geture Study:

This was a quick sclupture I did to better understand weight and form.
