The trip started with a gorgeous sunny day across the Interislander Ferry. The 3 hour trip was quite cozy and offered some amazing views threw the turquoise colored. After the cruise we picked up our rental car in Picton and drove off to Nelson. There were some great views driving through the mountains and we made a few stops along the way (Crystal Pool) as we headed to our kayaking adventure the following morning. We woke up from our stay at the Happy Apple and made the quick drive to Abel Tasman
