Chirstchurch is a city that everyone said to see on the South Island. It is about the same size as Wellington and known for its great skiing yet still has the small city feel that I love. The main strip has a beautiful stream that runs through a cozy little park with a few scattered walking bridges and a small old water mill that still stands from the cities origin about one hundred years ago. We found a great restaurant, Liquidity, and had
our best meal of the trip. We sat outside around a firepit and had some
great conversastion as well as one the best French made Mojitos ever;
and we know Mojitos. I remember also this prissy Japanese Paris Hilton
sitting across from us that practically had her “assistant” cutting
her food for her, it was hysterical. After our stay here we headed west
to glacier country.
