Its hard to resist a place called 90 Mile Beach; especially once we found out that you can drive on it. We chilled out here for a bit and took in some sand and sun. It was the first time I've seen the Tasman Sea. We ended up spending New Year's Eve at the small town of Ahipara on the southwest tip of the bay.
