North Island Photos Uploaded
Finally.
I just finished editing my North Island trip that I took all the way back at Christmas. I will most likely add a few more once Simon gives me the rest of his pictures. And this is just in time for me to start my South Island trip, I leave Monday. I'm so thrilled to get the opportunity to take time off work and see all of these amazing places in this beautiful country.
I feel this trip will be even better though because from what people tell me, the South Island is much much prettier. But I think the fact that my this trip will just be me and my girlfriend has me looking forward to it even more.
Some of the things we have planned are: kayaking along the private beaches and caves in Abel Tasman, taking a short cruise in Milford Sound, walking on glaciers, and all of the amazing scenery. Most of the epic Lord of the Rings shots were filmed around the South Island. We were going to go shark diving in one of those cages you see on TV in Kaikoura but they stopped the tours cause there just aren't enough sharks to see anymore, bummer.
Other then that, I'm off work for awhile, thats alwasys nice. All the best, and I'll be sure to be adding a South Island section on my site with photos galore....I hope this one doesn't take me quite as long, who knows.
To view the images click on the "New Zealand" section on the top panel next to the "Tradional" section and go from there.
Enjoy.
