Back from the Dead...
Man o man have I been busy. I'm sorry that I seem to have fallen off the earth but I have just been working so hard that I haven't had time to post. I know that souds lame but its true. I am working on an updated look to my site which will include a splash screen and some much needed updates of my work. So I know what your thinking, if you'r so busy, lets see what you have been doing. Sorry for now, but that is coming soon. Most likely I'll do that over Christmas break but maybe over Thanksgiving.
In this busy time, I have finished my Mazda RX-8, an old Rusty pickup truck (currently texturing) for a short that I am working on, a bunch of books and bookcases for another collaborative project, and a self portrait NURBs patch model.
The first short entitled "WORM" is a short animated skit that Landis asked me to work on with him and Roger. Its going really well and will be donw in time for SIGGRAPH next year. I'll have it up on the site when Landis allows me to. The other project I am working on is for school. We are doing a scene from Arthur C. Clarke's "Childhood's End" science fiction novel. That's another project I feel lucky to be apart of with some of the best of the best at my school and enables me to get a feel of a real production pipeline.
Not only all of that but I have also started to play ice hockey again so thats a nice break once a week from staring at the computer. What can I say, I'm doing what I want to do and that feels pretty damn good.
